Brown Hills Golf Course is an 18-hole public golf course located in the heart of Houston, Texas. Built to serve the local residents and surrounding communities, the course offers a welcoming, affordable, and well-maintained experience for golfers of all skill levels.
From the manicured fairways to the challenging greens, our course is designed to provide a fair but engaging test of golf. The layout takes advantage of the natural Texas landscape with strategic bunkering and natural water features.

Policies & Rules
Dress Code
- Collared shirts required for all golfers
- Golf shorts, slacks, or skirts required
- No jeans, cut-offs, or athletic shorts
- Soft spikes or spikeless shoes recommended
Cart Policy
- Carts must remain on cart path when fairways are soft
- Follow 90-degree rule when driving in fairways is allowed
- No carts on tees, greens, or within 30 feet of greens
- Maximum 2 riders per cart
Pace of Play
- 18-hole round should be completed in under 4:30
- Groups must maintain pace with group ahead
- Rangers will monitor and assist with pace
- Ready golf encouraged when safe to do so
General Rules
- USGA rules apply unless local rules state otherwise
- Cell phones on vibrate or silent on the course
- Alcohol consumed responsibly — no outside alcohol
- Children under 8 must be accompanied by adult

Cart Rentals

- • Cart fee included in green fee (see rates)
- • Reserve your cart when booking online
- • Single rider cart fee applies — no exceptions
Walking the Course
- • Walking permitted daily — all times
- • Push carts and pull carts allowed
- • No additional fee for walking
- • Pull carts available for rent at pro shop
